Charles Saunders was born to the late Mary Ida Loomis-Saunders and Ashley Saunders, Sr. on March 31, 1927, in Richlands, North Carolina. He relocated from North Carolina to the city of New York at a young age. Charles a man of integrity, generosity, charm, and style, he was an avid photo collector and amazed family and friends with his ingenuity and creativity. Charles was a member of the Triumph Church of the New Age. He was ordained Senior Deacon on July 15, 2018, at Church of First Born Ministries, Inc. in Brooklyn, New York.

He was love personified.

His life is love exemplified.

Charles touched so many lives and will be deeply missed.
