Billy Williom
Witherspoon
Aug 15, 1955 — Jul 4, 2023
Brooklyn
Billy Witherspoon also known as Messiah was born on August 15, 1955 in Brooklyn New York.
Billy was the rock of his family. His smile would light up the room. And everyone knew if you called he was coming.
Tender Memories:
From his wife Ruby, Where do I start? My husband knocked me off my feet one Summer day, and we never turned back. His walk was tough, and his smile said enough. He dressed to impress, and I was impressed. My husband, my rock, my supporter, my love, my baby. Our time together may have changed, but my love for you will forever remain the same.
From his daughter Lakima, My dad, you were my superhero, my guidance, and my strength in so many ways. We thought and acted alike which would cause us to have many bad days--but nobody could ever do what we did, copy or duplicate, because our daddy daughter relationship was one that was never staged. Our conversations were always filled with laughter, jokes, old stories, and pain because our arguments from us being one of the same. You would always tell me you loved me, and made sure that i knew. I love you dad and will forever miss you.
From his grandkids and great-grand Kaleq, Sha-Teek, A'shyia, Serenity, Where do we start? Aww Man! Our grandfather was one of one man. From the way he dressed, the way he talked, the looks he gave you, his confidence, his life stories, his jokes, and whatever it was he was just a different human being. One thing about him he loved his family and friends, he would go above and beyond to protect and provide for his family or anyone that he really really loved. He didn't play no games, he talked to whoever however he wanted, but the ones who really know him knows it was all love--that's just the way Messiah was and talked. He was a real tough person, wouldn't cry, wouldn't show no emotions just wanted to appear strong, never wanted to show any weakness--that's not what big Willy did. No matter what anybody said to him they were wrong and he was right, and you better off just saying you right and agreeing with him. He was very outspoken, he didn't care about anyone's opinion, he said what was on his mind at all times regardless who was around. He was the toughest, scariest person ever, lol, and he hated being alone or in the dark. We call him Billy Witherspoon aka Messiah.
