Obituary

Alton Alban Joseph of Elmwood Park, New Jersey passed away on August 27, 2024 at the age of 55 in St. George's Grenada.

He was born on June 3, 1969, in St. Andrews, Grenada to Joy and Elias Joseph.

On Alton's first day in Brooklyn, New York he met Jennifer, and on August 22, 1992 they got married. Shortly after they welcomed Zara in '93 and Kyanna in '95.

Alton worked in the produce department in Hunts Point Market for over twenty-five years. In ministry, he simultaneously was serving in different capacities but eventually became worship leader and Pastor in their local church in the Bronx.

In 2020, Alton and Jennifer started Immeasurable Church in Paramus, New Jersey, close to their home. Alton loved to travel, manage properties, take photographs, play the piano, and hang around with friends till the sun set. He always had the ability to make new friends anywhere he went.

In all these things, he did it unto the Lord.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his children, Kyanna and Zara (son-in-law Nick); his granddaughter Raia; mother, Joy; siblings, Eyon (wife Maria) and Primadona, many beloved nieces and nephews; his congregation at Immeasurable Church, Joy Fellowship Church, and countless other friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Alton's name to Immeasurable Church. All proceeds will go to a number of organizations that Alton Championed.
